Get ready for an unforgettable experience where you will connect with these gentle giants in a meaningful and up-close way. This program is designed for you to learn about and participate in the genuine care of our elephants, all under the close guidance of our experienced mahouts (elephant keepers).
What You Will Experience in This Program:
1. Meet & Feed
Begin your journey by getting acquainted with our elephants. You’ll learn the unique stories of each one. Most importantly, you will prepare a basket of food (like bananas, sugarcane, or seasonal fruits) and feed them directly with your own hands. This is the best way to build trust and start your friendship.
2. Nourishing Mud Spa Experience
The highlight everyone looks forward to! Elephants absolutely love mud. The mud not only helps them have fun and relax but also serves as a natural way to protect their skin from the sun and insects. Get ready to get in the mud, play, and apply the nourishing mud treatment alongside the elephants (Don’t worry, we have showers for you afterward!).
3. Elephant Bathing in the Pool
After the mud spa fun, it’s time to rinse off! We will lead the elephants to our natural water pool. You will get to help the mahouts scrub, bathe, and splash with them. This is a moment of pure joy, where both people and elephants get to cool off, play, and forge an even stronger bond.
4. Walk and Observe
During the activities, you will have the chance to walk alongside the elephants, observing their natural behaviors in a relaxed environment. (Please note this program focuses on care and interaction, not long-distance jungle trekking).
